A two-storey addition and total gut-renovation provides generous amounts of daylight, and clean, bright spaces for a busy family of six. The interior of the Edwardian-era home is given a modern palette and modern touches like generous closet space and a sleek, compact powder room. The front foyer offers generous amounts of closet space and an inset bench by the front door that provides space for shoe storage. Open shelves that allow visitors a sneak peak into the living space beyond. The main living room at the front of the house is bright and airy, centred around a wood-burning fireplace and a floating media/TV unit. Lastly, the wood-clad master bedroom features a breezy, re-constructed bay window with views overlooking the yard and onto the mature surrounding trees.
